Zollyann Howell is a faith-driven author, speaker, educator, and journalist whose work centers on storytelling, resilience, education, and intentional living. As a 6× Amazon Bestselling Author and founder of Books by Zee and ZAM Learning Academy, she is passionate about helping others embrace the courage to start again while building lives and brands rooted in purpose.  

Through speaking engagements, writing, media coverage, workshops, and community-centered initiatives, Zollyann uses storytelling as a tool for connection, empowerment, and impact. Her work blends authenticity, creativity, and faith, inspiring women, creatives, entrepreneurs, and families to believe in their vision and move boldly toward it.

Let's Talk about her labels...

Zollyann is a mother and spent over a decade as a classroom teacher before deciding to embark on the journey of becoming an entrepreneur. After receiving her bachelor’s in mass communications from Saint Peter’s University, instead of working in journalism, she decided to become an Educator. Becoming a teacher was one of her proudest moments in life.

What started out as a one-time service project at a women’s shelter in New York City in 2012 organized by Zollyann and several college friends to provide support to women and children in need, sparked her passion for wanting to do more and led to the birth of her Non-Profit mission Zee Gives Back and Zee's Virtual Library. Since then, Zollyann has made it her personal mission to continue to cater to women and children in need by providing support and resources to as much women and children as she can in her community.

After resigning from her full-time teaching career in early 2020, Zollyann has went on to published several books and several children's books, which includes my most recent children's Title “My Momma’s Glasses” which can be found on Amazon and Barnes and Noble officially claiming her “label” as Author.

Zollyann has also successfully launched a Fashion Brand called BAE & Co. and breaking barriers being the first and youngest African American to open a brick-and-mortar retail clothing store in one of the largest malls in Lake County, FL which she closed permanently 4 years after to focus building and expanding her Learning Academy.

Over the years, Zollyann has used storytelling, education, and speaking to inspire women, creatives, entrepreneurs, and young people to embrace resilience, purpose, and the courage to start again. She has shared her message on impactful platforms, including the TEDx stage at TEDxBronx in New York City, where she spoke about transformation, identity, and growth.
 

In addition to her work as an author and speaker, Zollyann has contributed to community-centered journalism and media coverage, highlighting stories rooted in culture, creativity, education, and impact. She also serves as a mentor and advocate for aspiring entrepreneurs and authors, helping others navigate visibility, storytelling, and building purpose-driven brands.  

Through her speaking engagements, educational initiatives, workshops, and community experiences, Zollyann continues creating spaces that encourage others to lead with authenticity, faith, and intention while building lives that reflect who they are becoming.
